As their web designer, I was asked to redesign the NPower Texas website. I concentrated on their branding phrases of "stability, effectiveness and impact". With that in mind, I used images of people successfully achieving goals and images of trees which help represent "stability". As a non-profit company who assists other non-profits with their technology needs, it was important to tie in these keywords for them.

Central Dallas Ministries - Vehicle Donation Program
CDM wanted a way to draw more attention to their vehicle donation program. As a member of NPower Texas, I developed a new design that would attract visitors and draw their attention to the need for donations. Also included on the site is a fundraising thermometer that monitors donation levels for the organization.

Golden Gate Day Care Center & Foundation
Golden Gate is a 501C(3) organization that provides day care and a comprehensive child development program. The Golden Opportunities Foundation is a literacy, art and cultural based program; which are centered on ‘anti-violence’ themes.

Verizon - Internal Application
Verizon brought me in on a 3 month project to help them come up with a new design for one of their internal applications. They were wanting to combine several internal applications into one. The issue they had was the old site was very outdated in appearance and was not user or code friendly. They wanted to also keep somewhat of a graphical interface to make it user appealing. The other challenge was they wanted to get a lot of information on one screen and eliminate scrolling. As I redesigned it, I cleaned out all the misc code and utilized CSS to style the design. One of the other features I incorporated was to allow the user to change the stylesheet based on their color preferences. Verizon was very happy with the results.

Oklahoma City University
At the time I designed and maintained this site, it contained easily 500-1000 pages of miscellaneous content. I spent much of my time cleaning up and reorganizing the content. Next I concentrated my efforts on re-branding all the pages so that they were consistent. Lastly I visited with various schools and departments to try and coordinate efforts to get their portions of the site complete. Since my design, the site has changed tremendously and I take no credit for the current design. There are still however some elements of my work still active on the site.

Will Burns: Democrat for State Representative
I was referred to Will Burns by Illinois State Senator Kwame Raoul. Will Burns was running for state representative and needed a website. I created a very basic site so that he could keep supporters up to date on his events and fundraising efforts. Since the site has gone up, he has won the democratic nominee for state representative.

Magical Sight and Sound
I designed this site some years ago for Magical Sight and Sound. At the time they wanted to focus on their dj and karaokee business but have since expanded. I no longer handle the maintenance for this site. Much of the site remains as created but there has been some changes made by the business owner.

Butterman
I'm not sure what happened with the actual website but this is the splash page I was asked to create for it. The business owner sold name brand shoes and clothing and wanted something a little different for a splash page.
